Umbrella is the first book I've chosen for discussion on Book Talk. Why? Two reasons:
1) It happens to be the book I'm reading at the moment. I very much want Book Talk to be something people use while they're reading, not a repository for stale literary criticism.
2) It seems to me the kind of book that people might want or even need to discuss while reading. You probably need support group to get through it.
If you want to suggest other books for discussion in the future, there's a special board for that under the "General" category. We can have more than one book on the go at a time.
